Disaster Recovery Program
Your support of Habitat’s Disaster Recovery Program will help us partner with more low-income families to rebuild their homes.
Habitat's Disaster Recovery Program is designed to assist low-income families who own a home in DeSoto County with repairs to live safely in their residence. Repairs may include but are not limited to drywall, flooring, ceilings, windows, doors, and painting.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicant must have owned the home pre-Hurricane Ian
and the home must have been the primary residence.
Damages must be due to Ian.
Applicant must be listed on the home/property as a owner.
The property must be single family, no rentals.
The applicant and all residents over the age of 18 living in
the home must meet all income limits.
*This does not include all requirements for this program and is subject to change at any time at the direction of the program manager.*
Hurricane Ian wreaked havoc on our community leaving a path of destruction. We need Your help to bring Hope to those affected.
